On April 10th, 2002 I bought a Nikon 995 which, after quite a bit of researching seemed to fit my needs and interest. It's not particularly expensive and it's quite versatile. For further reading on this and the current crop of digital cameras visit www.dpreview.com If you are interested in other photographic websites, I'd recommend you look at Rob Galbraith's for general information and some very useful reviews and suggestions on saving "dead" CF Cards. The Luminous Landscape, is a most comprehensive site devoted to the art of landscape, nature and documentary photography using traditional as well as digital image processing techniques. The video journals are really worth looking at. For those who are keen underwater photographers take a look at wetpixel. Another site I've just started looking at DigiDeep (and I quote) a new Underwater Digital Photography website that recently joined wetpixel.com on the internet. The Germany-based site, maintained by Andreas Voeltz and Lars Kirchhhoff, features a photo of the week, as well as the most comprehensive underwater digital equipment list found anywhere. And, as I've said before, if there is something you'd like to see added feel free to send me an e-mail .
